Cassandra Allen graduated May 2017 from Ivy Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. During her studies, she worked as a paralegal intern for a local Bloomington attorney and gained valuable experience to help transition into her new career.
Located at MBCB’s Bloomington office, Cassandra supports every aspect of the intellectual property practice group, specializing in patent, trademark, and copyright law. She assists clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 50 companies throughout the process of securing and maintaining IP protections. She’s frequently interacting with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as well as the World Intellectual Property Office.
Cassandra has worked as the sole paralegal for a criminal and family law attorney in Bloomington where she managed a large caseload. Prior to entering the legal field, Cassandra had a decade of experience in retail management.
Cassandra is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and Bloomington High School South.
Cassandra’s children keep her very busy with the many activities they enjoy. From IU Children’s Choir to pre-college ballet practice to coding and chess club she fully supports each in their personal endeavors. She is also involved in her local church and has helped to build Habitat for Humanity homes in her community.
